  August 30, 2010 - Short Decant. Dark purple color. Smoke nose. Some cork & smoke taste. Somewhat of a stange taste, not a wine to my liking. Drink now.

  April 17, 2009 - Purchased 7/06, drinking it nearly three years later. Delicious aromas of spicebox, earth, cherries, plums. Terrific spicy palate, with the fruit no longer primary. In the background there are plums, black cherries and yes some chocolate in the finish. Shows the aging potential of the wine--tasting very different from those who reported on it earlier.

  September 28, 2008 - Excellent bottle. Strong nose of fruit and earth. Palate of fruit as noted elsewhere, I also picked up a pleasant undertone of woodiness. I found the finish to be long and satsifying. I was not looking forward to this bottle as I had one a couple of years ago from the same vintage that may have been corked (and I didn't know it) or just needed more time. In any event, I will be picking more of this up.
