  December 18, 2015 - Actually disappointed in this wine. Coffaro is kind of the blend master and this one fell way short for a "ultimate cuvee". I've had his other wines and have been impressed both with the style and QPR.

  October 31, 2011 - Big, rich, black fruits, surrounded by firm, but not too firm, tannins. Cola. Spicy. Ample oak treatment, but the wine has enough fruit to balance so it's not an "oak monster".

  April 10, 2011 - This bottle came in third in our wine club's blind tasting of 6 red blends which included Owen Roe '05 Abbot's Table, Whitman '05 Narcissa Red, David Coffaro '08 Ultimate Cuvee, Isenhower '06 Red Paintbrush, Glencorrie "07 Cuvee Marquis, and Pepper Bridge '05 Pepper Bridge Vineyard.
