Community Tasting Notes 8

November 17, 2013 - Just cracked this one open. The nose is much more muted than a few years ago. I remembered it was fresh and so vibrant. Obviously with age, the nose has subsided and seems very conservative. But... on the palette, all flavours are still evident. Lemony, slightly bitter notes. Still acidic and very refreshing. Definitely drink up as its past its peak and will not improve.

May 31, 2011 - Its been over a year since trying this vintage. Cracked one open last night and its just as I remembered it. Very aromatic fresh white wine! One of the best nose from a BC white wines. Great tasting, not super complex but very delicious. A tad acidic but at the same time I really enjoy it. The freshness from lychee, peaches, lemons, pears, grapefruit are all evident. Well done!

May 3, 2010 - Beautiful nose, multiple flavors with good fruit balanced with just the right acid.

March 26, 2010 - tasted with a mild thai chicken salad wrap. clear, beautiful nose dominated by Geuwertz, wonderful balance of fruit and acidity. Definitely a keeper. The Noble blend is a traditional blend of Gweurtraminer, Kerner, Pinot Gris, Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Oraniensteiner.

February 16, 2010 - Off dry, moderate acidity but could use more. Good fruit flavours.
