November 24, 2015 - Tasted blind. Linear, mineral and slightly oaky, with a good core of Chardonnay fruit and a cool vintage profile. Could benefit from a couple more years of cellaring to fully integrate.

February 3, 2013 - Terrific balance. Citrus, orchard fruit, vanilla, perfectly integrated oak, long finish.

June 28, 2011 - Tasted immediately after opening and a little colder than normal. Wet rocks and citrus nose. Flavor is much the same with a touch of burnt honey added. Long and tart finish. Thinner texture and lighter body than I expected. This is good but unremarkable for a Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru.

December 3, 2010 - Again excellent wine from this Domaine and vintage. A really waxy, sexy wine with loads of mineral appeal just slides down effortlessly. Only just discovered this producer as it wasn't imported until now. Terrific stuff.

February 18, 2009 - A (mostly) Burgundy Seminar with Pierre Rovani (Spiaggia, Chicago IL): nose: some sulfer on the nose upfront that blows off after a little bit leaving lots of smokey tones, roasted nuts, peaches, bits of orange peels, and a good amount of citrus. A slight bit out of balance right now, but this was a sample that is to be bottled in the near future, but had been treated with sulfer shortly before crossing the ocean

taste: good medium/full and fat feel of spices, smoke tones, roasted nuts, a good helping of citrus tones and some bits of peaches. Excellent medium/high acidity to compliment it on the back end

overall: it looks like this is going in a great direction. Would've scored it higher most likely if I had been able to try this w/o the recent sulfer treatment. Great purity and classic chassagne profile. Will be interesting to fully try the final product
