April 3, 2017 - SWP3 below has pretty much nailed it on this wine. I'll only add that the wine still needs some air, and that the slight bitterness noted by him and other reviewers doesn't detract in the least: it's like the bitters in a well-balanced cocktail.

Yes, it's a little hot, but there's good acid back bone, some interesting, black cherry/dried cherry flavors with a lift of red cherry and even bitter citrus notes. All that with pretty Asian spice and cola and long, silky finish. I haven't written a wine note in probably 6 months, but this deserved one. Best BC experience in a long time.

May 3, 2016 - I'm afraid i may have waited a little to long to drink this wine. The fruit seemed to have dissipated and the wine just seemed "flat". I have one more bottle so will revisit very soon to see if it was just a bottle variation.
