November 6, 2022 - Very dark ruby with blackberry, black olive which follows through on the full bodied palate. Lots of blackberry, black and red cherry, a little heat from the alcohol (15%). Decent but nothing too complex.

April 16, 2014 - I just love this wine! It is approaching its peak, but has many years of life left in it. Wide open with loads of garrigue and licourice on the nose, but the fruit is evolving from bright red to something a bit darker and more mature. The minerals are still there, and the balance is great. I will try to save my last bottle of the 2007 for another year or two.

September 5, 2012 - On the nose sandal wood, game, plum, cherry and spice. There is noticeable alcohol. On the palate there are sweet fruits, kirsch and pepper. Medium to low acidity with softening tannins. Slightly better on second night. Can't be far from peaking?
