February 24, 2024 - Very good, not great. Felt heavy (for lack of a better word), rather than the lighter, more poetic body I expect from a Hermitage. Opened about 5 hours and then decanted before drinking, which was right.

May 7, 2022 - Opened two hours before serving. Was rather ripe at first but soon gave way to floral notes, fresh herbs and red fruit. Substantial on the palate, ripe yet restrained, very slight notes of white pepper. In a good place right now.

June 13, 2021 - Marc Sorrel, Hermitage Le Greal 2003

    Note : 16-16,25 / 20 i.e. 90-91 / 100

February 15, 2020 - Was a bit alcoholic at first with notes of kirsch. After 2 hours of air in the bottle and some time in the glass, balanced out beautifully and was very similar to its flight partner, a 2003 Chave Hermitage. Give this time to breathe.

October 5, 2019 - Blind N. Rhones: This was not a great showing. Fruit was both roasted and closed in and not giving. Not giving any pleasure.
