Community Tasting Notes 1

August 1, 2009 - Simple but very delicious drink. A bit over-sweet on the nose, with candied cherries, raspberry compote, strawberries and musk, but not cloyingly so. Much better tone and balance on the palate though - refreshing spritz, nice lychee and sweet cherry flavours and just a ton of grenadine juice followed by a tingly finish with lingers of cloves and a touch of other spices. Nice balance with a touch of dryness at the end too. Interesting enough, and certainly delicious for a balmy evening.
