January 24, 2024 - Jolly nice. Resolved, but perhaps a bit lacking in fruit. I wld say on plateau. Might even say, drink up.

October 18, 2023 - TWS Rioja tasting (Chelsea Old Town Hall): Still unwinding and overall it feels very young. A touch of VA and cherry, plum fruit. It may be going through a dumb phase (but then all of the Muga wines had a similarly solid, closed character) but I found it rather inexpressive. Tarry finish.

January 16, 2023 - Cedar nose plus some dark berry notes. Still a blockbuster wine after 24 hours open after decant. Big acid and tannins still evident. Blackberry fruit with a strong licorice note is evident. The finish is lengthening as the tannins have finally begun to soften. Overall the wine is tasty but I was expecting more complexity. Still a fine wine with a lot of life.
