January 4, 2018 - This is an outstanding zin. Huge fruit and well integrated tannins. We have been watching this wine develop and it has been rewarding. If you have any, try a bottle.

April 24, 2014 - Not as good as the bottle last year but still wonderful. Lots of pepper on the palate this time, with some bramble and dark fruit on both the nose and palate. I didn't detect any vanilla influences and the balance was pleasant.

March 29, 2014 - much better when I tasted it in the barrel, especially after comparing it to a 2006 Dashe zin yesterday, I must say this wine seems anemic. Nice fruit of cherry and red rasberry with some clove and spice, but appears more watered down than I remember
