October 29, 2009 - So much better than my previous bottle, needed a little time to come around, Vibrant ruby colour, nose of strawberry with a touch of truffle.On the palate earthy with raspberry, rhubarb and gooseberry notes, very long finish, excellent wine but I think it may be on its last legs.

February 13, 1990 - Tasting of 4 Red Burgundy and 4 California Pinot Noir. Had a rich, fruity nose that was nearly perfect, slight bacon taste with pleasant fruit in the mouth, great, long, lasting finish with terrific aftertaste. Second place, Group #2.
