October 11, 2020 - beautiful drink for sure, red fruit galore and some hints of secondary / spice (but subtle), good acidity, lovely thing for sure -- elegant but decadent

February 14, 2016 - agree this is an ager, it reminded me a bit of corton with sharp red fruits and edgy spice notes... this had real grip and i think needs some add'l time but was good, especially on night two

August 9, 2013 - Pale reddish orange color. All sorts of sweet herbs, green tobacco leaf, strawberry, Asian spice on a suave light-bodied frame, tart but gentle and long finish with plenty of dry extract goodness. Still improves with some air time.

August 6, 2012 - Classic pinot nose. Plenty of fruit, balanced and smooth. Loved it.

(Calera Pinot Noir Reed Vineyard) Medium red color with clear meniscus; cranberry, tart raspberry, sexy nose; very tasty, silky textured, poised, tart raspberry with good structure and balance; medium-plus finish (from Mt. Harlan fruit planted in 1975; aged in 15% new oak for 16 months)
