  October 5, 2016 - 10 year old cab franc from Sonoma. This wine has aged extremely well. I have read the comment "classic". This is the exact word I would use to describe this wine. Great balance; fruit, tannin, acid. I love the graphite note that seems to only come from a high end cab/cab franc. Much better than its' tariff.

  February 5, 2015 - Tannins softening but still quite prominent - this needs more time or lots of air. Black fruit with only hints of bell pepper. Juicy, delicious, long.

  January 4, 2014 - Decent tannin structure and somewhat enjoyable but not that interesting to me. I prefer more vegetal characteristics in my Cab Franc. I took this to a party and that's probably what I will do with the second bottle as well as I think that's the right environment for it.

  December 17, 2012 - Bought 4 bottles some time ago and have been waiting for a little more time in the bottle based on other comments. It is still a bit hot but not annoying. Medium purple with dark fruits and soft tannins. Like the dryness of this wine. Glad I have 3 more bottles to give a little more time.
