September 13, 2023 - 3rd of 12, pnp, perfect level, cork quarter stained, little changed from last December's bottle, attractive, nuanced for Brunello, glossy middle, limited upside, 10+ years. F+ (18).

December 11, 2022 - 2nd of 12, opened 90 minutes, half stained cork, perfect level, as described in last December's detailed note if now more relaxed as approaching maturity, a very polished rendition of Brunello owing much to the Gaja house style, still upside, 10+ years. F+ (18).

    October 5, 2022 - What a spectacular wine!
Big and broad-shouldered yet completely a BdM Brunello.
Early drinking window and will probably remain here for another +30 years or so. It will probably evolve more for some ~10 more years.

Dark red with maturity in its colours.
Nose sends your brain spinning 🤪 around Jupiter. This is FUN-frucken-tastic.
In the mouth, the fruit is still strong and hiding many future aspects. Beautifully crafted and has all the right things in the right places. Screams of Brunello, with a touch of Napa, in the best possible way.
If you're stashed, keep or drink. No hurry at all. You are sitting on a wine treasure that time will not be able to get a dent into.

    Lovely!!!

August 29, 2022 - Still has a lot of fruit and tannins. Medium mouth feel. Sustained finish. Very drinkable even though it is reportedly past its drinkable window (ended 2018). Very nice with spicy Mexican food.

July 15, 2022 - Decanted for two hours. Deep red brown. On the nose it has the standard Brunello aromas of road tar, brambles, heat. lightly sweet entry followed by a brambly fruit note. still has plenty of tannic backbone. very good now but it seems like it would have been even better in another few years.
