November 17, 2016 - Cranberry color in the glass with typical Chambolle stone and red fruits both on the nose and on the palate. Only qualm was with a somewhat short and mildly over-dry finish. Still quite good for both the vintage and the producer, and better than I recall from prior bottles.

Viollakrits ligger kvar i eftersmaken.

Fruktig som en nya världen-pinot och karaktär som Bourgogne. Lite oväntat men mycket gott är det utan tvekan.

March 25, 2016 - Perfect with salmon and roast cauliflower. Strength in fruit, and dark spice s there bur appropriately restrained. Long finish is satisfying.

May 2, 2014 - Light on its feet. Cherry notes. Well balanced and excellent finish. Tasted at Cafe Boulud, new york

February 15, 2014 - Two years since last tasted. Bright red ripe almost hot Pinot fruit, some subtle wood. Very Chambolle, just a bit unsophisticated for a CM 1er. I think the raw material is here to make this a solid CM in time, but it's still a bit out of balance and the fruit borders on Cali cloying for my taste. I'd give it t least another year to better integrate and for the fruit to continue to settle down. Certainly more enjoyable since last tasted, and while this wine is evolving, it is doing so at a snail's pace.
