October 15, 2023 - Big Arcadian Tasting in ATL Part II, With Joe Davis (1998-2005); 10/15/2023-10/16/2023: The wine still has a youthful verve that betrays the vintage on the label. At the one hour in the decanter mark...it really pops to reveal layers of black pepper and dark fruit. Balance of acid, dark fruit, iron...Savory. Acid streak. This wine just keeps kicking. Fabulous! Kudos, Joe!

August 16, 2021 - Black plum and roasted meat comes across as surprisingly bright and fresh. Just faint spice, this has aged very well but hasn't quite developed the nuanced complexity I'd expect. But overall, very easy to enjoy.

February 26, 2021 - Delicious dark berries, earthy, and floral aromas which carry on to the silky palate with tasty acidity and forest floor notes on the long finish. Continues to drink beautifully at nearly 20 years old!
