May 30, 2021 - The nose is very spicy, with lots of dried fruit and garrigue. Later, tobacco and smoky aomas emerge. The palate is well balanced. Tannins are well integrated and the finish is medium in length. Alcohol is 14.5% according to the label but it does not feel. Drinn now

November 16, 2018 - In the bouquet beautifully ripe red and dark berries. Same on the palate, cherries as well. Good acidity. Tasty wine and the alcohol shows a bit. The wine develops quite quickly in the glass.

March 24, 2010 - Wines of the Languedoc under $40: I was surprised as to the price on this. Apparently purchased recently "on sale" for $35. Wine-Searcher shows it available in France for $90. Purple/maroon in color. The nose is gamey, a bit over the hill with some green notes and also some red raspberries. Not bad. On the palate, this is nice. While some commented on its complexities, I found it one dimensional and past prime. Drinkable and enjoyable, but nothing special. It faded in the glass.
