December 31, 2023 - Ruby color with just a little cloudiness and minimal sediment. Fragrant bouquet. Red berries with a hint of sour cherry, earthy, floral and complex, with manageable acidity. Sufficient fruit, but a little rustic and lacking some concentration. The wine is holding up well and might continue to develop.

July 20, 2016 - Reductive and a little awkward at first. It breathed into a thing of beauty. There was the most pure core of sweet cherry fruit. It had a touch of meat, s sprinkling of brown spices and some engaging purple florals. It is a strong wine but the wines perfume renders it delicious at this young stage. The finish is laden with crunchy red fruits and minerals.
