April 29, 2012 - Not much nose. Pleasant fruit. Cranberry, dark cherry, and lots of plum. Doesn't linger long on the palate. Good with meatballs and sauce

August 6, 2011 - Paired with meatballs and marinara. Not much nose with this wine though it did improve some after sitting in the decanter. Starts out a little spicy, then finishes with plum on the palace. Smooth mouth feel
