February 25, 2024 - Shows mature, with juicy teriary fruit mixed with some sous bois notes. Mostly integrated structure at this point. Not as expensive or complex as my last bottle 6mos ago.

September 30, 2023 - Fantastic, with the last sip 4hrs after opening being the best. Light bricking and and light color. Fantastic earthy and mushroom nose with hint of baking spices. Palate is around and mature with nice fruit element. Very mild tannins on the back end. Is a great spot.

December 7, 2022 - Beautiful and balanced. Lots of red fruit on the attack, with nice acidity and overall balance. Paired great with kurobuta pork roast.

November 25, 2022 - Very much enjoyed this balanced Corton. Opened up great after about 30 mins in the decanter. Red fruits, earth, mushroom. Great acid presence, a great finish.

(Domaine Chandon de Briailles Corton-Bressandes) Medium dark cherry red color; vivid ripe raspberry, red fruit, vaguely herbal nose; tight, tart raspberry, mineral, herbal palate with depth; medium-plus finish (needs 5-7 years)
