July 7, 2023 - Purchased at the winery during a 1995 trip to the Loire.
I don't recall the precise details but I remember this wine being delicately sweet and very special when we tasted it
Amber in color
Nose: Honey, marzipan and tangerine
Palate: tangy orange/orange zest, honey and quince with a very long and zesty blood orange peel finish
Probably a few years past its peak but still near it's best and excellent - and definitely a wine that gets the wheels turning in terms of the different flavors and nuances
