May 12, 2013 - Big and jammy. More like Syrah than Pinot. Sweet finish. Pulled out some chocolate as an accompaniment and it worked.

February 1, 2013 - Not a bad bottle, but not particularly representative of the varietal either. Dense fruit, with a heaviness that bespeaks a bit of Syrah. I remember preferring this to the reserve when tasted at the winery.

August 30, 2011 - Drinking very well right now. Bought a bottle from the restaurant to take home with us. Very deep fruits. Thicker and more big than you expect from a pinot.
