October 22, 2016 - Used to drink these quite a bit and found one in the cellar unaccounted for. Opaque to ruby edge, no bricking. Nose was dark fruit and mineral. Long slow legs. Smooth on the palate with plum, licorice and tobacco. Surprisingly, a little dry and needed food. No hurry to drink up if you still have some.

September 21, 2012 - Minerality, rich red fruits and some structure. This was better on day 2. Delicious!

January 28, 2012 - Dark, rich, seductive nose that opened beautifully and after a time exposed some complex minerality. Rich caramel flavors, concentrated raspberry and quite grapey still. That along with the big tannins leaves me to believe that this wine will continue to develop over the next 5-8 years. Quite delicious.
