January 5, 2014 - Deep ruby bordering on purple. Closed nose initially. Blackberries, cassis, plums and of course those Margaux flowers, roses and violets. Maybe it's Xmas but I could swear I detected cranberries and pomegranates. Tight tannins, medium + acidity and medium body. Good dark fruit but this has a few years ahead of it as it's still tightly wound up.
