December 31, 2017 - Ruby magenta color, no sheikh present, slightly thinner clear edge. Nose of crushed cassis and elegant woods, maybe even mint or some other herb. Taste is polished, balanced, elevated. Paso ripe fruit only shower second day, first day was quite restrained. Lots of life, extended to 2020. Enjoy now you won’t be disappointed.

April 7, 2011 - Night 2 - consistent, though noticeably softer and more integrated. Less oak and in your face fruit, makes me wish I had decanted or at least gotten more air than pop and pour on night one.
