March 25, 2017 - Tried again. Better bottle than previously tasted. Subtle nose, but doesn't show its age. Sulphides, lemon, spice, fresh. Great wine - cork permitting!

September 4, 2016 - Cork issues? Developed nose, oxidative, mushrooms, honey, stone fruit. Palate is odd, fruit and honey on one side, prominent acidity on the other. Not sure this wine is all that great......

June 16, 2013 - Quite a full light to mid gold. Nose a touch aldehydic initially, and though this didn't develop further it didn't lift completely either. Ripe and rounded, a combination of the vintage and seemingly aging a little prematurely. This wine has always tended towards lacking Chablis typicity, but on this evidence it's now in the departure lounge. Drink up. Still perfectly decent, but just not what one would expect / hope for. Mid ***

December 29, 2012 - As previous bottle, some of the vintage ripeness but still with a recognisably Chablis saline bite and minerality. Quite full and advanced colour though. ***

August 14, 2012 - Reasonably mineral and saline nose with a zesty cut. Similar on palate; there is grip here and a nicely saline minerality. Slightly rounded and floral top notes with a touch of florality, but overall this a little more focused and precise than the last bottle. Lacks a bit of intensity and persistence on the finish, but this is very decent. ***
