  October 19, 2010 - I'm not a big Riesling fan, but I enjoyed this white. Slightly sweet, but not like syrup. Very mild on the palate, but complimentary with fruit or different cheeses (I did a cinnamon cheese--yep, cinnamon...I love trader joe's!). I was quite suprised at how good this wine was for the cost. I think I paid $9 for it at Bevmo.

  May 12, 2010 - Lychee and sour apple nose. A little rubbery - reminds me of cheap bike tires. Very sweet and fruity on the palate. Apple, melon. Definite bike tire on the finish, which is short and gets a little hot as the wine is warming up. A great riesling? No. A good riesling? Adequate maybe, but pretty drinkable for 8 bucks, and I've seen it for less too.

  January 17, 2010 - When cold this wine came across somewhat cloying with strong melon and lychee but not enough acidity to bring balance. It sat out for a quite a while and when warmer grapefruit flavors rose up to give it more balance. It still lacked enough acidity to even out.
