Drinking well, not sure it will improve with further aging but will evolve on - still some fruit to lose and some tertiary notes to develop. -

February 21, 2024 - Served to accompany pork casserole.
Opened, decanted and poured immediately, so left in the glass for 10 minutes to open up.
This is fresh and full of good blackcurrant fruit and forest floor. Very smooth and silky, well balanced and good structure. Starting to develop some typical Bordeaux earthiness. Excellent.
First tasted in 2018, I said then that this would easily keep 5 to 6 years and it's as good now as it's ever been. I'd say drink up, but probably still 2 or 3 years good life in it.1 person found this helpful Comment -
