  February 24, 2024 - Deep garnet in color. Nose of plums, dark cherries, chocolate, and a hint of menthol. Taste of dark chocolate, dark cherry, plum, and a hint of vanilla. Just starting to develop secondary flavors. Rich and lovely mouthfeel. Good supporting acidity. Drink now and over the next 3-5 years.

  Servido por copas. Al cabo de los años parece diluirse tanto en nariz, apenas unos vagos recuerdos a higos, como al paladar, solo algo de regaliz negro y de hierbas secas. Sinceramente, de muy poco interés esta vez.

  classic Cockburn drinking close to its peak.
  Combines balance with richness.
  Quite a long finish.

  January 28, 2023 - Ever better, but the corks are weeping a little, urging drinking up. A wet cork comes out more cleanly though with patience. I judge this wine at perfection now and give it two more points. Still a few bottles remaining
