February 26, 2014 - Cherry, vanilla aroma. Tannin still there, can age longer. Dry finish, cherry and blackberry hints.

September 22, 2012 - Amazingly good for the price point. Won't "wow" anyone, but will pair well with most everyday foods. Moderate tanins, heavy fruits. A little oak and vanilla. Quite smooth for a wine at this price point.

July 8, 2012 - This wine appears to be on its down hill legs. I've had several bottles of the 08 in the past and They appear to be on the decline in my cellar. Nice fruit and good fruity nose. A bit of astringence on the finish now. Still drinkable but go for the newer vintages is my guidance

January 13, 2012 - Deep black reddish with plum edges. Nose with mineral notes and full fruit. Mouth is full fruit with a nice bite and end of tanins. This wine followed an ok 2005 Chianti Classico Reserva and stood up well to that wine. Nice full fruit and full mouth with a good dry finish. A steal at the local pricing in town. We'll see how the 2008 develops over the next year -- I expect better things!

November 24, 2011 - OK. Felt like it had been removed from the barrel prior to full maturity. Pleasant enough, however. Berries and spice is about all I can remember (it's been a few hours, bear with me).
