Creamy round feeling, not super refined, but vital and powerful. Now optimally ready to drink. February 26, 2023 - 10450 bottles produced. Yellow fruit, apricot, mineral, fat and rich with superbly balanced acidity. Seems like the first vintage and very good at it. 92-93

March 12, 2014 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #087; Burgundy: Vosne Romanée and Clos Vougeot. (By VD): Beautiful bouquet with tropical fruits and a firm dose of luxurious and toasted oak. Same on the palate, pineapple, good citrus, vanilla, anise and soft bitterness. A clean, complex and lovely wine. Not too old yet.

Citrus on nose. Plus toasted brioche.
Bit of grapefruit on palate. Touch of oak. Very clean. Long. Really enjoyed this.

3/1/2006 (link)(Vougeraie Vougeot Clos Blanc de Vougeot) The only wine from this vertical that betrays a little oak on the nose, no honey notes to spot this time. Fresh, interesting but not quite the depth and length of the 2000-02 trio. Pleasant enough wine.
