May 14, 2024 - Nice old Bruenllo. Held up well, but time to dring 'em if you have 'em. Brought to a winemaker tasting at Lincoln Fine Wines with Lorenzo hosting. The tasting was for the 20,21, and 22 Rossos, plus the 18, 19, and 13 Riserva. Shared the '04 with group. Lorenzo tasted all of the complex flavors - chocolate, tobacco, forest floor - said the acid still there and fruit long on finish. Fun to drink with him. He said his father made this wine. His first vintage was '06. Great 20 year old wine and would probably now focus on buying more '13s and onward.

December 28, 2020 - Final bottle of 2004 Normale. A pleasure to drink now with rich, sweet fruit, soft tannins, and fresh, appetizing acidity to bring all into balance and extend the finish. Lorenzo Magnelli’s Father vinified the 2004 as Lorenzo’s first vintage in charge was 2006. Looking forward to drinking bottles of the 2004 Riserva in the coming years.

    January 16, 2013 - *decanted for 2 hours*

Lovely aromas of soil, tobacco, red currant, and mushroom. Opens nicely in the mouth with plenty of acid, more red fruit and a silky component with nice balance.
