  January 5, 2024 - Tout en finesse. nez sur le tertiaire, le cuir, le sous-bois. Développe des arômes de poivron un peu d'air. En bouche, commence à être un peu fatigué mais en croire agréable. Typique BDX. A boire maintenant.

  November 22, 2023 - A little bit (actually quite a little bit) tired but enjoyable none the less. Mid-palate was definitely lacking presence. I got 1 good one out of 4. But the other 3 still gave me joy. On to the next find.

  November 3, 2023 - Much better than the first two. Lot of funk on the nose so i gave it 2 hours of air épaulée. Leather, oak spices and black fruited. Plenty of acidity and the fruit is still showing up to the party. Nice bottle

  October 4, 2023 - The nose displays cassis, tobacco, damp earth and some slate. No TCA on the nose but the palate is rather thin/dilute without fruit but with astringent ultra fine tannins. This just ain’t right. It’s my first 1995 Lanessan but it’s got to be affected by age. I don’t find any TCA markets other than the lack of fruit and tannic finish. I’ll let it breath until meal time and hope it improves. Looks like a Fail.
  
  Edit: never woke up. I deglazed the bavette with it and the rest will remain for cooking.
