  August 18, 2011 - Bright and crisp lemon, perfectly balanced. Just enough oak to match the richness of the scallops and shitake mushrooms. A bit one dimensional, but delicoious nonetheless.

  May 5, 2011 - Popped and poured. Light, lemon/straw hue. Initially somewhat tight aromatically, after about 45-60 minutes aeration the nose opens to show very nice aromas of stone fruits, lemon meringue, citrus zest, and a decent touch of minerals. Light body, yet seemingly puts on weight with air. On the palate, this well-made Chardonnay shows an impressive core of pronounced fruit flavors and suggestions of minerals while revealing little to no oak influence, with perhaps just a touch of spice on the back suggesting otherwise. Really gains in focus and intensity with air. Heightened acidity will appeal to acid lovers and makes this an easy choice to pair with food. Quite youthful, should age nicely for another 2-4+ years. Very nice!
