  May 24, 2022 - my 2nd bottle, fully mature, nose with blackcurrants, dark plums, well integrated oak, on the palate rather spicy, herbs, tar, tabacco, not typical like a bordeaux, round and ripe tannins. Too much herbs in my opinion,

  May 31, 2020 - Due to previous notes, and a lot of obvious sediment, I opened this one with trepidation - a funky nose quickly blew off leaving a moderately strong nose of prune and forest floor. After an hour of a leisurely steak dinner, the body gained some heft - with medium weight and fruitiness - the acidity and sugar still being nicely balanced. Mature merlot notes on a lighter, but lasting finish. Looks like it held up in my cellar just, just long enough to hold up to rare, garlicky red meat.

  March 7, 2020 - i drank this a little bit to late now, very soft now, black raspberries, cherry and some mint and floral notes

  April 26, 2019 - As with previous notes, vanilla and chocolate dominate. Similar to Coleraine. Delicious and I wouldn't hold for any longer.

  November 22, 2018 - Pflaume, rote Beeren, leichte vegetabile Noten und Zigarrenkiste; am Gaumen frisch, mittelkörniges, leicht zehrendes Tannin, guter Grip, langer Abgang.
  Zwei Tag später hat sich der Wein überraschend zum Positiven entwickelt: Weich, elegant, schöne Frucht- und Paprikanoten, super Essensbegleiter zum Rumpsteak! Also beruhigt die weitere Entwicklung abwarten...
