October 23, 2010 - WSET II; 10/23/2010-10/24/2010 (Portland, ME): Medium ruby color. Medium-minus intensity nose of blackberry, Fruit Loops, and green pepper. Off dry. Low+ fine tannin and low+ acid. Plum palate. Poor to acceptable.

June 10, 2009 - I agree with the other note; green pepper notes dominate, both in nose and mouth. Bitter. A reasonable source of alcohol, but not fine wine by any stretch. There is some fruit -- mainly plum -- in both the nose and mouth, but it's not something I liked at all.

May 7, 2009 - From Magnum. Full body, but bitter. Not great as a wine, but great as an affordable intoxicating agent.
