Community Tasting Notes 2

April 8, 2011 - Blood red color. Decant for an hour and drank 3 glasses over the next 4 hours. Beautiful raspberry and darker berry aroma. Very unbalanced with the acid so overwhelming that it masks the nice fruit with mouth filling sourness. After the sour fades there is a residual feel of fine tannins. Thought that over time it might come together, but the third glass was just about as rough as the first.

January 19, 2010 - Nose: Big, plush plum and raspberry fruit. So juicy its almost over the top. Palate: The big plums and raspberry fruit shows with a pronounced sour note. Not as over the top as the nose would promise. Decnt but a little too fruit forward for my palate.
