Community Tasting Notes 2

April 21, 2023 - Intensity medium(-). Strawberry, red cherry, rose hip, tobacco leaf, wet forest floor, earth. Acidity medium(+). Tannins medium. Finish medium(-). Unfortunately, this bottle couldn't stand up to the test of time. Hence, no rating.

April 21, 2023 - WSET 2 tasting group get together (Utrecht, NL): [Tasted blind] Called 20 year old Nebbiolo, which of course didn’t make sense given the tannin level. Light garnet/bricky in color. Very tertiairy (mushrooms, forest floor, earth), savoury, some cherry, almost pure ‘roosvice’, black tea. Medium+ acidity, medium- tannins, medium- finish. Quite watery on the palate.

Not yet dead, but it’s not far off
