April 2, 2014 - No formal note, but this wine had improved substantially from my experience with it 3 years ago. It did indeed soften quite a bit, and is now offering pretty luscious texture and fruit throughout. It's still pretty lean and acidic, but I quite liked what's going on in the glass. Nothing hugely compelling, but definitely a very nice quaffer.

January 30, 2011 - Pre-Birthday tasting (Willamette Valley): The nose on this one smells pretty chemically... not very appealing at all, so I couldn't garner any other notes. The palate is light, without much interest here, showing primarily some overarching green notes. The finish is really tannic and dry. I'll hold on to this one for some time hoping it softens and mellows with a few years on it.
