May 2, 2017 - 23 Vintages of Château La Conseillante 1947-2011: Wonderful depth to the nose, spicy and warm, a hint of figs (suggesting oxidation); drier in the mouth than the nose suggested, surprisingly slim and tight, especially for a -59.

March 19, 2017 - From a bottle that has never left the chateau, this was stunning in every sense of the word. Lush, sensuous, opulent and frankly decadent, the wine has depth, silky tannins, complexity and a finish that does not quit. A treat and a thrill.

July 28, 2016 - I wish I had more of this beauty in my cellar. My one and only bottle was popped and poured and it delivered from start to finish. Medium bodied, silky, refined, fresh, sweet and with length, allowing you to savor the almost 60 year old fruit, and stick with the silky textures as well. There is no reason to hold this any longer.
