November 25, 2011 - Quite impressive for the price. Earth on the nose. Nice fruit on start, but i find a bit too high on the alcohol for the body. Decent sangiovese though.

August 18, 2010 - Not a wine for less discerning guests but a nice change from the vast array of food friendly wines. Ruby/brick in color, it's very big on the nose with lots of fruit, spice and tar. Forward on the palate with smokey dark fruit and well rounded tannins. Great choice to mix things up!

October 16, 2009 - Le site du producteur dit qu'on a ajouté 5 % de canaiolo et 5% de cabernet sauvignon au prugnolo gentile. Le vin est chargé de saveurs fruités et de noyau de cerise amère en plus d'avoir ces notes florales et de cuir bien acidulés. Le vin était parfait avec des pâtes et une sauce tomates aux olives noires.
