    March 9, 2024 - Vieux bourgogne enivrant

August 22, 2010 - The color is red garnet. It looks younger than 24 years old. The aromas are dominated by primary and secondary aromatics. Not as far progressed as I had expected. The aroma is dominated by spice and ultra-ripe strawberries. There is also a litlle iron. In the mouth, it is sweet. The tannins are soft at their core, but a little rough around the edges. The acidity is low, which would make it hard to pair with food. The finish is medium to medium short in length. The wine is good, but far from profound.
