December 12, 2011 - Popped and poured, drank over two nights. Very dark hue. Nose of dark black fruit with hints of smoke and pepper. Very nice. Black cherries on the palate, nice mouthfeel...just a bit clipped on the finish. Enjoyed this.

June 1, 2010 - Just like the previous note, no complexity, but a simple, forward, and rather nice syrah. Massive black fruit initially, this shows decent restraint in it's approach. Still, no fireworks, just easy drinking.

May 15, 2010 - The nose is deep and dark showing oak, smoke, and some deep raspberry scents. The fruit expresses itself on the palate with more blackberry flavors. The fruit is juicy and bright, and the even oak rolls across the mid palate. This is quite gentle for a Syrah, which intrigues me.

May 23, 2009 - Memorial Day Weekend Wine Tour (Eola-Amity Hills): Dark fruit nose with a hint of candy and light earth. The tannins are nice, and there is some light dark fruit flavor, but no complexity.
