March 12, 2022 - 04/05/07/10/12 vertical -- an outstanding and dazzling bottle with so much freshness, drive and emerging complexity.

March 12, 2022 - La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): In a great Ramonet Chevalier-Montrachet vertical. Hard to believe that this is the first time I have tasted this wine! Floral and spiced nose with lemon, lemon peel that is matched by its palate that adds in plenty of apple and poached pear. Great weight and length. Almost as great as the 2004.

May 21, 2021 - wow. initially closed but as it opened up it unfurled! stunningly powerful enormous fruit flavors that persists thru the finish. had next to ruchottes which by itself is amazing but this was another level. the concentration of flavors and coating mouthfeel was out of this world.

A couple of additional thoughts from my POV:
This was slightly understated compared to the best Ramonets. It was still excellent with that unique Ramonet signature of spearmint and fruit.
Here are my real time notes:
caramel
spearmint - only one place to find it
lemon
smoke
a bit lighter than montrachet
twists and turns - so complex1 person found this helpful Comment -

March 31, 2021 - M&PD Zoom Tasting: White Burgundy & Red CDP (Zoom): A little butterscotch. Smoke. Menthol/mint. Seaweed. Broad shouldered palate, tons of structure. Simply remarkable, salty, savory, and mouthwatering. This is a lovely wine.
