November 14, 2009 - Shared w Kai and Zach. Both enjoyed, again switched from an earlier wine, in this case a Pinot. Big bold taste and am now curious to try as a large component in a blend to see if I appreciate. Stand alone flavor is amazing.

October 18, 2009 - Fantastic. Useful food note for trackerati: We opened this wine for dinner guests after a pinot starter and a great cab. Where do you go from there without breaking the bank or even worse neutering the taste buds with another cab? Switching to the off color varietal was the trick. The huge difference in flavor profile was the perfect follow up. Nice sense of light acidity. An almost summery feel to it. Paired with a fresh tomato sauce pasta dish. Tom's were from the Rill garden and were spectacular. One of the nicer tomato sauce pairings. Kudos to the team at Bacchus once again for this off the wall choice.
