  February 12, 2012 - Rich golden amber-yellow. Complex rich aromas of candle wax, chalky minerals, lanolin, lemon peel and more. Rich, viscous and juicy with pear, a hint of succulent green papaya, and preserved lemon flavors, silky on the palate, with vibrant acidity and good length. Super vibrant, expressive, primary Chardonnay. (**)

  March 20, 2011 - Aroma: limestone mineral notes, citrus zest, hint of yeastiness.
  Visual: Bright golden color, viscus
  Taste: Mineral, lime, white peach, steeliness, creamy, almost faint vanilla, which was interesting given the wine did not see oak.
  
  Overall: Great chard, good mouthfeel, nice overall mineral flavors. Definitely an outstanding wine.

  September 21, 2010 - Focused, pure fruit in this amazing chard. Great extract without being heavy, real minerality, a certain steelyness, like a great Meursault. Excellent value even at this price. Wild yeasts, limestone-granite soils, aged sur-lie with no battonage , and no fining or filtering. Done right.

  January 9, 2010 - Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had lemon and stone, apples, and a little smoke at the end. The palate was rich and creamy, with spice, honey, apples, and smoky lemon finish.
