September 21, 2017 - Quite an interesting and compelling wine. Drunk over two night. The first night without much decanting it was a chewy, big tannic wine. Powerful concentration, well integrated with flavors of black fruit, tobacco, chocolate, and spices. A little alcoholic particularly on the finish. Not showing much age at all- clearly has a way to go. The second night the tannins had melted a bit and the nose came alive, with the body having better body and a bit of finesse. Really delicious and better than I expected.

March 20, 2016 - Was a concerned as the cork fell apart on opening. Decanted and mesh filtered the wine. Was all there. Sorry this was my last bottle of 07.
