December 1, 2008 - Older than I'd like to have seen, but holding up okay. Still got good texture, with a bit of tannin and some acid. The mouth and length seem to be a bit obsessed with that "old fleshy tart cherry" thing, which is a bit distracting, but the wine is nice enough. It's nice enough as an old wine, but I suspect that this would have been better a few years ago.

February 3, 2008 - After about 10 minutes in the decanter this was fireing on all cylinders so I did not see any upside to continue decanting –back in the bottle it went and it was served after the white wines but before the big reds of the evening–there was some nice tart cherry aromaics as well as some dark fruit –medium weight ,well balanced and a nice mellow sweetnes. The best part of this wine was the texture –in a word smooth. Overall a very plesant drinker. I would have given it higher marks if the finish was more complex or if the wine had a bit more structure but all and all this was my best bottle of this to date and my last. Previus bottles several years ago had a more dry profile to the tannins but now this has smoothened out & softened considerably so a few more years of bottle age have served this wine well –I would recommand drinking this soon if you have any as the wine has evolved and you probably want to drink this before the remaining fruit fades. I would give it a solid 90 points.

January 19, 2006 - This very dark pinot is either at it's prime or very close to it. A very nice pinot that was reasonably priced at $34.00.

March 8, 2005 - Lovely spicy cinammon and white pepper notes framed the black cherry fruit in this wine. Some secondary nuances of cocoa powder and pine. Velvety texture and firm finish. Very tasty. Drink now through 2007.
