Community Tasting Notes 7

November 25, 2014 - Red plum, red cherry, with tobacco and Forrest floor. I usually hate almost everything from Lodi, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. However, because of the 7 years age, it's solid. Not very edgy or big at all. But it's actually pretty smooth and easy going. Structure is weak and finish is short. Slightly above average. Nice job. Worth every penny, however I won't buy it again. Would happily except it as a gift. ?

October 30, 2010 - Got the bottle from a friend... not sure they are a friend any more. Taste was one dimensional... very bland... and had no aroma whatsoever.

May 25, 2010 - Popped and poured, down the drain. Not offensive but very thin and manufactured sugar water, reminded me more of a Grenache, one dimensional supermarket wine. Avoid.

May 25, 2010 - not impressed with this at all, even for the $10 i paid for it. grape kool aid rocking hard on the front end. you can find just about the same thing in a myriad of $5-7 cabs in the grocery store

July 27, 2009 - Ouch. Avoid even if given free.

(The Crusher Wilson Vineyards Cabernet Sauvingon) #1; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very candied; heavy strawberries; subtle chocolate; a little artificial; PALATE-cherry juice flavored; fairly smooth; very candied (like Hi-C cherry); very easy drinking; subtle oak and vanilla; a little thin for me; acts more like a Merlot; has some body & complexity, but pretty standard, middle of the road Cabernet; GV-76
