Community Tasting Notes 4

July 7, 2019 - Another experiment in aged white wines. Deep amber color. Oak with a bit of oxidation. Nutty and round. Vanilla and residual sugar. Almost tasted like a Sauternes.

April 7, 2012 - Love Kalin chard. Nutty, rich, luscious. So so captivating.

December 17, 2009 - More of a Cathy Lane compared to the Blackwoods Patty Lane. "But they're cousins...identical cousins..." Elegant, seasalt minerality, honey, nutty, very refined balance, plenty of acidity. It would be contemplative if there weren't another half dozen or so wines to go.

July 17, 2009 - Beautiful gold color with perfume nose and secondary notes of nuts and cream sherry. Great acidity with nice tart lemon finish. Still going strong.
